Description
The Bold Coast Trail is a lovely 2.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located within the Cutler Coast Public Lands. Cutler Coast Public Lands is located along Maine’s famous Bold Coast and consists of 12,334 acres with 4.5 miles of headlands overlooking the Bay of Fundy.
The Bost Coast trail features boardwalks over muddy sections and is well-marked. Before getting to the shoreline, visitors can admire the beautiful flora including berries, fungi, and wildflowers. The dramatic cliffs at the end of the trail will leave you speechless. The waves crashing against the shoreline and the endless ocean vistas can be enjoyed for hours.
Aside from the Bold Coast Trail, there are also two longer loops trails that are 5 miles and 11 miles. These allow visitors to spend more time hiking along the coast.

Sam –
This is an absolutely amazing place to backpack it’s a short backpacking trip at most 1 day but the cliff views and the almost subtropical growth along the coast is other worldly I highly recommend going in late summer to early fall an absolute must stop in Maine and not crowded at all compared to Acadia national park
