Description
Falls On Camp Brook is a beautiful waterfall located in Tyringham, Massachusetts. The waterfall has a total height of 20 feet and it can be found along Camp Brook. Camp Brook flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. Although it is best to explore the waterfall in the spring, Falls On Camp Brook is a great spot to visit year-round.
The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of lovely cascades. Photographers often enjoy taking long-exposure photos of the waterfall, so tripods are recommended for those who have them. It is also a very photogenic waterfall considering visitors can easily access the base of the falls and see the true scale of the water dropping. The waterfall is also not very popular which makes it a great place to escape and enjoy nature.
Accessing the waterfall is relatively easy. The waterfall is located in the McLennan Reservation which features a well-marked trail system. Visitors can park at the trailhead located at the end of Fenn Road and then hike to the falls via the 1.8 mile Round Mountain Loop Trail The waterfall trail is family-friendly and a great way to get some hiking in. Dogs on leashes are also allowed on the trail.
