About This Location
Chapel Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Ashfield, Massachusetts. The waterfall features three gorgeous drops. The upper falls are 10 feet, the middle falls are 15 feet, and the lower falls are 20 feet. Visitors can enjoy lovely displays of cascades, slides, and a block. The falls are located along Chapel Brook which flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. Although it is best to explore the waterfall in the spring, Chapel Brook is a great spot to visit year-round.
Accessing the waterfall is easy. The waterfall is located in the Chapel Brook Reservation which features a well-marked and well-maintained trail system. Visitors can park along Williamsburg Road and then hike down to the falls. Follow the Two Bridges Trail to view each of the falls. The waterfall trail is family-friendly and a great way to get some hiking in. Dogs are also allowed on the trail and through the entirety of Chapel Brook Reservation.
Chapel Falls is truly one of the greatest waterfalls in the state.
