Cloudland Falls

(1 reviews)

Description

Cloudland Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Lincoln, New Hampshire. The waterfall is one of the tallest in the state as it drops over 80 feet. The waterfall can be found along Dry Brook which flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. Although it may be best to see the waterfall in the spring, Cloudland Falls is a great natural spot to visit year-round. The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of a fan-type horsetail.

Cloudland Falls is the third major waterfall located along the 3.2-mile Falling Waters Trail. The two waterfalls closer to the trailhead are Swiftwater Falls and Stairs Falls. Cloudland Falls is exactly 1 mile from the parking area located of Route 93. The waterfall trail is family-friendly and a great way to get some hiking in. Dogs are also allowed on the trail and at the waterfall.
