Cloudland Falls

(1 reviews)

Cloudland Falls is a spectacular 80-foot waterfall located in Franconia Notch State Park within the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The waterfall is known as one of the tallest in the White Mountains, which makes it a must-see for any waterfall lover. The fanning structure of this waterfall is the most impressive aspect. Cloudland Falls has a width of 2 feet at the top and a width of about 25 feet at the base during periods of high flow. Photographers can grab great photos of the waterfall by navigating around the shallow portions of Dry Brook at the base of the falls. Dry Brook is not the most powerful water source, but it always flows strong in the spring thanks to the melting snow at Mount Lincoln and Little Haystack Mountain.

Cloudland Falls is the third major waterfall located along the 3.2-mile Falling Waters Trail. The two waterfalls closer to the trailhead are Swiftwater Falls and Stairs Falls
