Deer Hill Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The waterfall has a total height of 60 feet and it can be found along Roaring Brook. Roaring Brook flows strongest during the springtime when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. This waterfall is very seasonal, outside of the spring visitors often only see a small trickle of water flowing over the steep rock face. This is definetly a waterfall to only visit in the spring when the runoff is providing strong flow.

The waterfall itself drops in a unique horsetail formation and it is moderately difficult to access. The waterfall is located in the Mt. Greylock State Reservation which features a well-marked trail system. To access the falls, visitors can park along Rockwell Road and then walk 0.6 miles down Sperry Road to the trailhead which is right where the campground is. From the campground, the waterfall is about 0.3 miles. So the journey to the waterfall is 0.9 miles one-way. Dogs are welcome to join their owners on the hike to the falls considering all of Mount Greylock State Reservation is dog-friendly.

It should be noted that accessing the base of the waterfall is dangerous due to slippery and unstable rocks. Be very careful as you explore this waterfall.
