Description
Echo Lake Beach is a beautiful beach located in Franconia Notch State Park. The beach is located at the northern of Echo Lake which is a 39-acre lake that sits at the meeting point of the Franconia Range and Kinsman Range. The elevation of the lake is 1,931 feet and the beach boasts lovely views of Franconia Notch including the iconic peaks of Cannon Mountain and Mount Lafayette.
To access the beach, visitors must make a reservation or try to get a first-come/first-service walk-in space. The entrance fee is $4 for adults and $2 for children (ages 6-11). Reservations can be made up to a month before arrival. The beach is extremely popular among photographers, but it has a whole lot more to offer. Visitors are welcome to swim, fish, and boat in the lake. Canoes, kayaks, pedal boats are all available for rent. Additionally, there is a general store on the shore of the lake that offers staples like drinks, ice, snacks, beach gear, and more.
