Gilsum Falls

Description

Gilsum Falls is a large roadside waterfall located in Gilsum, New Hampshire. The waterfall has a total height of 40 feet and can be found along an unnamed stream. This stream is very seasonal and typically just flows strongly during the springtime when the snow is melting. For this reason, it is best to visit during the months of March, April, and May. Outside of the springtime, the waterfall is still worth checking out considering it is located just on the side of the road. In regards to the formation, Gilsum Falls features beautiful horsetails.

Accessing the waterfall is super easy considering it is located on the side of Gilsum Road. Visitors can park right in front of the falls and admire them. There is no trail system around the falls because private property is close by.

Porcupine Falls is another great waterfall located just down the road in Gilsum. If you’re looking for more awesome waterfalls to explore, check out the GoXplr New Hampshire Waterfall List!
