Description
Gleason Falls is a great roadside waterfall located in Hillsboro, New Hampshire. The waterfall features a total drop of about 10 feet and it can be found along Beard Brook. The brook flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. Although it is best to explore the waterfall in the spring, Gleason Falls is a great spot to visit year-round. The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of lovely cascades.Â
Accessing the waterfall is extremely easy considering it drops just feet from the road under an old stone bridge. Visitors can park right along Beard Road and then walk along the brook to get a closer look at the falls. This is a wonderful family-friendly waterfall considering it can be found right on the side of the road. Dogs are also welcome at the falls!Â
This is truly one of the greatest waterfalls in New Hampshire. If you’re looking for more amazing spots to explore all around New Hampshire, check out goxplr.com/map/new-hampshire!Â
