Description
The Henniker Community Center located at 57 Main Street is an iconic Henniker, New Hampshire building. It originally served as a Baptist Church from 1834 to 1856 when the Methodists purchased the property. The building later became a Masonic Temple for many years until they donated it to the town of Henniker in 2003. The Masons saw the need for a community center in the town, and community members were excited about the opportunity. The Henniker Community Center is a common space where all generations of Henniker residents can come together to play, learn, and grow in order to build a stronger community.
There are some other great spots nearby to explore. Within a mile of the center, there is the Congregational Church of Henniker, Henniker Historical Society (Academy Hall), and the Henniker Covered Bridge.
