Kinsman Falls is a 20-foot-tall cascade that plunges gracefully into a deep and inviting pool. Its source is the pristine Cascade Brook, originating from the magnificent Kinsman Pond nestled beside Kinsman Mountain's North Peak. Despite its relatively narrow profile, Kinsman Falls is a testament to the captivating beauty and soothing power of nature. It truly shines during the spring months when the melting snow and occasional rainstorms swell the brook, unleashing the full glory of this enchanting waterfall.

Reaching Kinsman Falls is a delight for nature enthusiasts. The Basin-Cascade Trail, well-maintained and thoughtfully marked, is conveniently accessible just off Interstate 93. For those seeking a refreshing dip, Kinsman Falls is a welcoming spot for swimming. The pool beneath the cascade is often deep, clear, and pleasantly warm during the summer months. It serves as a favorite respite for hikers looking to cool off while exploring the White Mountains on a warm day. However, caution is always advised, as the area around the waterfall can be slippery and the terrain steep.

Kinsman Falls extends a warm welcome to four-legged adventurers as well. Dogs are permitted both at the waterfall and on the trail leading to this natural marvel, provided they are kept on leashes.
