Description
Konkapot Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Monterey, Massachusetts. The waterfall has a total height of 25 feet and it features a length of nearly 200 feet. This waterfall has one of the longest slopes of cascades in Massachusetts. Konkapot River, which fuels the falls, flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. Although it is best to explore the waterfall in the spring, Konkapot Falls is a great spot to visit year-round.
Accessing the waterfall is super easy. The waterfall is located right off River Road in Monterey. Just park and then walk a few feet into the woods to see the large waterfall. The land to the south of the waterfall is town-owned property and this side offers great views of the waterfall. The north side of the waterfall is on private property, so be sure not to cross the river.
Exploring Konkapot Falls is a great family-friendly activity. Dogs are welcome to join in on the adventure too!
