About This Location
Little Moss Glen Falls is a nice little waterfall located in Granville, Vermont right off Route 100. The waterfall has a total height of over 60 feet and it can be found along an unnamed stream. This stream is pretty seasonal and often flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. Considering the water flow is often greatest in the spring, the months of March, April, and May are recommended for visitors. That said, Little Moss Glen Falls is a great spot to visit year-round. The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of a single horsetail.
Accessing the waterfall is relatively super easy. The waterfall is located just a few steps from the iconic Moss Glen Falls. Its bigger brother is far more impressive. But, it is still worth it to check out this little waterfall too.
To get to Little Moss Glen Falls, park in the dedicated parking area along Vermont Route 100. After parking, the waterfall is just a dozen feet away. It is handicap accessible and a great place to explore for people of all ages and abilities. No parking fee is charged. Dogs are welcome, but keep them on a leash because the highway is right next to the falls.
