About This Location

The Little White Church in Eaton, New Hampshire is a local landmark and one of the most beautiful churches in the state of New Hampshire. The church was built in 1879 and since then it has become a center for the spiritual and community life of the citizens of Eaton, New Hampshire, and the surrounding towns. Originally, the church was built by a Freewill Baptist group, but today it is owned and operated by a non-denominational, non-profit organization. Local volunteers, officers, and trustees govern the church and it relies on donations. These donations mostly come from weddings, religious services, community events, and general functions held at the church.

Aside from being a wonderful gathering place, the church has also become a bit of an iconic New Hampshire sight. Hundreds of photographers make their way to Eaton each fall to capture the white church popping out among the fall foliage. There is also Crystal Lake in front of the church, which photographers flock to so they can capture amazing reflections of the church and foliage on the water.
