Narragansett Town Beach, nestled in the scenic town of Narragansett, Rhode Island, holds the distinction of being one of the most popular beaches not only in the state but in all of New England. Its inviting shores can draw thousands of visitors on sunny days, creating a vibrant summertime atmosphere. It's not uncommon for some 5,000 beachgoers to flock here on a perfect summer day.

Spanning approximately 19 acres, Narragansett Town Beach offers ample space for visitors to soak up the sun, build sandcastles, and play beach games. The beach provides convenient parking options in the North, South, West, and Cabana parking areas. It's open and collects fees seven days a week during the season, from Saturday, June 3rd, through Labor Day. Additionally, fees are collected on Memorial Day Weekend.

For daily admission, the cost is $12 per person, and children aged 11 and under enter for free. ATM machines are conveniently located at both the South and North Pavilions for visitors' convenience. Parking fees vary, with rates set at $10.00 per vehicle from Monday through Friday and $15.00 per vehicle on weekends and holidays. Nonresidents are required to park in the West Lot, across the street from the South Pavilion at 39 Boston Neck Rd. However, during the off-season, no parking fees are charged, and all lots are open to beachgoers.

Narragansett Town Beach is a haven of amenities designed to enhance the visitor experience. Snack shacks at the pavilions serve breakfast and lunch, including options like breakfast sandwiches, burgers, chicken tenders, and ice cream. The beach is also conveniently located near a variety of restaurants and stores, making it easy to satisfy any craving. Abundant benches, picnic tables, restrooms, water fountains, and more provide added comfort for those spending the day on the shore. Along with lifeguards during the summer which make everyone feel safe.

Parking Notes:
The North and South parking lots are located right on the beach and hold hundreds of cars. In the summer, these are reserved for town residents and beach season-pass holders. For visitors, there is limited street parking on Ocean Road just north of the Narragansett Towers, and also south of the Towers. There are also several private lots near the beach. In the off-season, parking is free and open to all.
