Ossipee Lake, nestled in the northeast corner of the Lakes Region in New Hampshire, is a tranquil and idyllic getaway that beckons those seeking solace and natural beauty. This pristine lake, covering 3,257 acres, is a cherished gem in Carroll County, surrounded by the towns of Effingham, Freedom, Madison, Ossipee, Sandwich, and Tamworth. It is known for offering a serene escape for those who love fishing, boating, swimming, and capturing the stunning scenery through their cameras. It is also the seventh largest lake in the state.

Ossipee Lake has earned a reputation as a haven for vacationers, evident from the numerous condo, cabin, and lake house developments that line its shoreline. Many of these developments include private beaches, adding an element of exclusivity to the lakefront experience.

For those looking to enjoy Ossipee Lake without being part of a private association, Constitution Park is the go-to destination. Located right off NH-25 in Ossipee, this park is easily accessible and offers a range of amenities. Visitors can explore a playground, tennis courts, athletic fields, and a delightful boardwalk leading to the public beach. The beach, situated on the eastern shores of the lake at the channel to Broad Bay, is a highlight of Constitution Park. It features white sand and is a popular spot during the summer, drawing both locals and tourists alike. It's an excellent place to soak up the sun, swim, or simply take in the picturesque views of Ossipee Lake.

For those seeking a more immersive experience on the lake, renting a boat can be a fantastic option. Lakefront Landing Marina, a local establishment, offers a variety of motorboats for rent, along with kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. For thrill-seekers, the marina also offers Water Ski and Tube Packages, providing the perfect opportunity for exciting water adventures.
