About This Location

Pecks Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Adams, Massachusetts. The waterfall features an upper and lower falls which drop 12 feet and 50 feet, respectively. The two district falls can be found along Pecks Brook. Pecks Brook flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. Although it is best to explore the waterfall in the spring, Pecks Falls is a great spot to visit year-round. Many visitors opt to visit during the summer because the upper falls feature a lovely pool at the base which is great for swimming.

The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of plunges, horsetails, and cascades. Photographers flock to the falls and oftentimes bring tripods for long exposure photos. Luckily, it is easy to traverse around the falls to capture great shots.

Accessing the waterfall is super easy. The waterfall is located in the Greylock Glen which features a well-marked trail system. Visitors can park along Gould Road and then hike just about 300 feet to the falls. The waterfall trail is family-friendly and a great way to get some hiking in. Dogs are also allowed on the trail and through the entirety of Greylock Glen.
