Pond Brook Falls is a huge and very remote waterfall located in Stratford, New Hampshire. The waterfall has a total height of 100 feet and can be found along Pond Brook. Pond Brook flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. Considering the water flow is often greatest in the spring, the months of March, April, and May are recommended for visitors. That said, Pond Brook Falls is a great spot to visit year-round. The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of cascades and slides. Swimming is not recommended here, but there is an okay pool at the base of the falls which some visitors have wade around in.

Accessing the waterfall is both easy and hard. The drive up to the falls is the hard part considering visitors must drive along Nash Stream Road for about 5.9 miles. Nash Stream Road is a dirt road that is not extremely well-maintained. A 4×4 vehicle is strongly recommended. Additionally, the road is closed during the winter. The gates are typically open from May to December. After the drive is complete, reaching the waterfall is super easy. The hike to the falls is just about 1/10 of a mile. It is family-friendly and dog-friendly too!

At over 100 feet tall, Pond Brook Falls is nearly one of the tallest waterfalls in the state!
