Description
The Town of Brewster owns the Quivett Creek Marsh conservation area and maintains it for public use. The 55-acre marshland features 0.3 miles of public paths, including a long boardwalk. Quivett Creek is also home to Cape Cod’s best herring run. Hundreds of herring come in from the bay each spring, swimming into the Paines and Quivett Creeks to spawn in the freshwater ponds.
