Roaring Brook Falls is a beautiful and very large waterfall located in Cheshire, Connecticut. The waterfall has a total height of 80 feet which makes it one of the tallest waterfalls in Connecticut. It can be found along Roaring Brook, hence its name. The brook flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. Although it is best to explore the waterfall in the spring, Roaring Brook Falls is a great spot to visit year-round due to its size and view-ability. The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of a horsetail and cascades.

Accessing the waterfall is relatively easy. The waterfall is located in Roaring Brook Falls Park which features a well-marked trail system. Visitors can park at the end of Roaring Brook Road, right at the trailhead. The hike to the falls is  and then hike 0.60 miles one-way to the main falls and another 0.10 miles to the upper falls. In total, to see both waterfall sections, a 1.40 mile out-and-back hike is requires. The waterfall trail is family-friendly and a great way to get some exercise in. Dogs are also allowed on the trail and through the entirety of the park.

Parking is available at the end of Roaring Brook Road. There are 3-4 parking spots. There is a small information kiosk containing the trail map and additional information.
