Sheep’s Hole

Description

Sheep’s Hole is a pretty little waterfall with a nice swimming hole located in Johnson, Vermont. The waterfall drops just 5 feet, which is the minimum height of a waterfall in our opinion. What makes this waterfall worth visiting is the swimming pole at its base and also its accessibility.

At the base of the waterfall is a lovely round swimming hole. It is known among locals to be a great place to swim during hot summer days. If you do decide to beat the heat here, be sure to watch out because the rocks get very slippery.

When it comes to accessibility, the waterfall is super easy to find. It is located right off Foote Brook Road and it can be seen right from the road. To get a closer look, park along the road and then make your way down to the brook.

As of 2023, we are unknown whether the waterfall is located on private or public property. The location will be updated as soon as we figure this out.
