Sodus Point Beach Park

Description

Sodus Point Beach Park is a beautiful location on the shores of Lake Ontario in Sodus Point, New York.  The park consists of a white sand beach, Sodus Outer Lighthouse, and a 1,000-foot walkable breakwater pier. There is also a pavilion, grills, playground, and a boat launch. Sodus Point Beach Park is most busy during the summer months when swimming, fishing, and other activities are best. That said, it is a wonderful place to visit in the off-season to photograph, walk, and relax. Be sure to check out the beach at sunrise and sunset to catch some glorious colors!

Dogs are allowed at Sodus Point Beach Park while on a leash, but not in the swimming area. They are not allowed on the grounds of the lighthouse museum.
