About This Location

The Mill Falls is a wonderful little waterfall and swimming hole located in Worcester, Vermont. The waterfall features a lovely 12-foot plunge that drops through the remains of a breached dam from an old mill. This old concrete mill was abandoned many years ago and just the foundation remains. Over the years, the ruins have been covered with graffiti. The falls are not natural, but still beautiful nonetheless.

At the base of the waterfall is a pretty round pool. This pool is deep and clear enough for swimming. During the summer months, locals flock to this swimming hole to beat the heat.

Accessing the waterfall is relatively easy. The waterfall is located just off Minister Brook Road about 10 feet from the road. The waterfall is on private property, but respectful visitors have long been welcomed. Sadly, there is no dedicated parking area for the falls and the road near the waterfall has a “No Parking” sign. For this reason, visitors must park a few hundred feet down the road. Be sure to pull over completely on the side of the road. Then walk over to the falls. There is a small trail leading down to the brook.

Ultimately, this is a fun little waterfall that is quick to visit. It’s a fun family-friendly and dog-friendly spot to explore!
