Tiny Brook Cascades is a beautiful and hidden waterfall located in Plymouth, Vermont. The waterfall has a total height of 40 feet and features two drops. There is an upper waterfall and a lower waterfall. The upper falls are the main falls and these drop 30 feet. The lower falls drop about 10 feet. These two feature wonderful cascades, horsetails, and plunges.

The falls can be found along there’s namesake water source, Tiny Brook. This brook features pretty solid water flow year-round. That said, the brook often flows strongest during the spring time. For this reason, some visitors opt to check out the falls during the months of April, May, and June to see them in peak condition.

Accessing the waterfall is relatively difficult. Despite being only a short distance, the trail to the falls is overgrown and requires some bushwhacking. Follow an antiquated, overgrown road from the parking lot, through a gate 125 feet from the trailhead. You will be about 300 feet from the trailhead when you get to an open space. When you hear sounds coming from the woods and brook, turn right and proceed in that direction. You will only have to hike for 0.1 miles before you reach the lowest falls if you stick to the rocky trails that lead closer and closer to the brook. Upstream, 150 feet, are the major falls. It’s not too difficult to examine both falls if you make your way through some brush around 30 feet away from the stream. Sadly, this trail is not very family-friendly or dog-friendly due to the steep and slippery terrain found along this unmaintained trail.
