Description
Warren Falls is a beautiful waterfall and swimming hole located in Warren, Vermont. The waterfall has a total height of 20 feet and it can be found along the Mad River. The river flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. Although it is best to explore the waterfall in the spring, Warren Falls is a great spot to visit year-round.
The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of stunning plunges. One of the most unique aspects of the falls is the gorgeous pool at the base. The pool has become one of the most popular swimming holes in the state of Vermont. It’s a deep and clean pool surrounded by cliffs that people love jumping off of. If you visit during a hot summer day and want to take a dip, be careful and have fun!
Accessing the waterfall is super easy and quick. The waterfall is located in the Green Mountain National Forest which features many amazing locations and well-marked trails. Visitors can park along Vermont Route 100 and then hike just 0.1 miles one-way to the falls. Exploring the waterfall is a great activity to do with kids considering how short the trail is. Most older people can access the waterfall too. Furthermore, dogs are allowed on the trail and around the falls.
Another great waterfall located just 5 miles down the road from Warren Falls is Moss Glen Falls in Granville. Be sure to check out that one too!
