Waterbury Trail Falls is a small and very seasonal waterfall in Waterbury, Vermont. The waterfall has a total height of 40 feet and it can be found along an unnamed stream. This stream is extremely seasonal and typically only features a trickle. That said, during a few days of the year, the stream has a strong flow. The watershed often peaks during the spring when the winter thaw occurs. Typically, the best months to visit the falls are April, May, and June.

The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of plunges and cascades. Accessing the waterfall is relatively easy, but does require a short hike. The waterfall is located in the C.C. Putnam State Forest which features a well-marked and well-maintained trail system. Visitors can park at the Waterbury Trailhead lot off Sweet Road and then hike 1 mile to the falls. Ultimately, the trail out and back is 2 miles and features 860 feet of elevation gain.

The waterfall trail is family-friendly and a great route to get some hiking in. Dogs are also allowed on the trail and through the entirety of C.C. Putnam State Forest.

There is a small parking area at the Waterbury Trailhead located just off Sweet Road. The lot can hold about two dozen cars. It does get busy on summer weekends.
