Waterloo Covered Bridge is a beautiful covered bridge located in Warner, New Hampshire. The bridge was built in 1860 to move traffic over the Warner River.  The bridge spans 77 feet long and is about 16 feet wide. It is currently open to pedestrians and cars.

Waterloo Covered Bridge features a wonderful town lattice truss design and on November 21, 1976, this covered bridge received the honor of being listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The National Register of Historic Places is the official list of the Nation’s historic places worthy of preservation. Authorized by the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the National Park Service’s National Register of Historic Places is part of a national program to coordinate and support public and private efforts to identify, evaluate, and protect America’s historic and archeological resources. The NRHP Reference number for the Waterloo Covered Bridge is 76000130.

Visiting and photographing the Waterloo Covered Bridge is a wonderful experience. Accessing the covered bridge is extremely easy thanks to the parking area located just north of the bridge. Parking is free and there are many spots.
