Description
Wingaersheek Beach is a beautiful beach in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The beach is about 0.6 miles long and located along the Annisquam River. In the distance of the beach, you can spot the Annisquam Lighthouse. The beach is open to the public and during the summer residents can park with a pass and visitors can purchase a day pass. During the off-season, the main Wingaersheek parking lot is closed, but there is a secondary parking lot that is open. The beach is popular in the summer with people swimming and soaking up the sun. In the winter, the beach is popular among walkers and dogs. Wingaersheek is one of the best beaches to visit on the North Shore of Massachusetts.
