Wolcott Pond Brook Falls

Wolcott Pond Brook Falls is a wonderful waterfall in Wolcott, Vermont. The waterfall has a total height of about 15 feet and it can be found along the Wolcott Pond Brook. Wolcott Pond Brook flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. Considering the water flow is often greatest in the spring, the months of March, April, and May are recommended for visitors. That said, Wolcott Pond Brook Falls is a fun place to visit year-round.

The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of two distinct drops. The upper section of the falls features a 5-foot plunge which drops into a pretty pool. The pool could be okay for swimming during the summer months. The lower section of the falls features a 10-foot drop in a horsetail formation.

Accessing the waterfall is super easy. Both of the waterfall drops are located along Jones Road in Wolcott. The lower falls are at the beginning of the road and the upper falls are about halfway up the hilly road. Visitors can admire the falls right from the side of the road. Both of the waterfalls are technically on private property, so visitors should be respectful when admiring them. The upper falls seem to allow visitors without any problems. The lower falls are close to a private home, so do not attempt to get close to them.

Ultimately, the Wolcott Pond Brook Falls is a beautiful duo of roadside waterfalls to check out!
