Treehouse rentals in Vermont offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy the great outdoors. From cozy cabins to luxurious lodges, there’s a treehouse rental to suit everyone’s needs and preferences.

The Benefits of Staying in a Treehouse in Vermont

Staying in a treehouse in Vermont offers a unique and unforgettable experience that you simply can’t find anywhere else. Not only will you be surrounded by stunning natural beauty, but you’ll also be able to disconnect from the stresses of daily life and reconnect with nature.

In addition, these treehouse rentals offer a level of privacy and serenity that you won’t find in traditional hotels or camping accommodations. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a family adventure, a treehouse rental in Vermont is a perfect choice.

How to Find the Perfect Vermont Treehouse Rental

Finding the perfect Vermont treehouse rental can seem overwhelming, but with a few tips and tricks, you’ll be able to find the perfect escape for your needs. Here are some things to consider when searching for your dream treehouse rental:

Location – Consider the location of your rental carefully. Vermont is a large state with a variety of landscapes, so think about what kind of scenery you want to be surrounded by. Do you want to be in the heart of the forest, or near a lake or river? Do you want to be close to the city, or would you prefer a more remote location? There are many great ski mountains to enjoy during the winter – look for these too.

Amenities – Think about what kind of amenities you want in your rental. Do you want a hot tub, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, or Wi-Fi? Make sure to check the rental listing carefully to see what’s included. If you’re considering bringing a dog, check for whether that is allowed too.

Size – Consider the size of your rental. If you’re traveling with a large group, you’ll need a treehouse with plenty of space. If you’re traveling alone or with a partner, a smaller and cozier rental may be a better fit.

Architecturally the treehouse is stunning. Its design was carefully considered, and local, natural, and repurposed materials were used as much as possible in its construction.

Relax in the living area and enjoy the tailored interior design while looking out the huge, repurposed windows (from an old, local schoolhouse). Just below the treehouse, on the creek, there is a lovely sitting spot, hammock, and campfire place with a striking view of the treehouse. A day bed hangs below the home. Also in the area under the treehouse, you can use the small charcoal grill or the propane camp stove (which has the option of a griddle) to cook up a simple meal. To keep your delicious local beer and your fresh fruit from the farmers market cool, there is a mini-fridge with a separate freezer. You can utilize a very basic (and constrained) water system to wash your dishes.

When it comes to sleeping arrangements, there is a cozy loft with a double bed. It is often referred to as “The Nest.” If you are staying at the treehouse during the summer, feel free to open the windows at night to enjoy the fresh air and sounds of the babbling brook. Additional guests are allowed to use the air mattress and two hammocks.

Every window has screens. For your convenience, there is even a composting toilet within the tree house. During the warmer months of the year, from mid-June to mid-September, you can use this treehouse. Maximum sleeping capacity is five.

Remember that the Morning-Dove Treehouse and the Hermit-Thrush Treehouse are both creative and rustic constructions meant to evoke a sense of freedom and natural interaction with their surroundings. Some safety considerations are absent or scaled back as a result of these ideals. Examples include uneven stair treads and rises, uneven railing heights and spacing, free-form ladders to bunk beds, uneven and steep terrain, hammocks across uneven and hard surfaces, and additional factors that weren’t included in this article. For very young kids who need supervision, the treehouses are not advised. A liability waiver must be signed by each visitor before arrival in order for them to remain.
