Abol Bridge

Description

Abol Bridge is a must-stop location in Maine to take in beautiful views of Baxter State Park and Mount Katahdin.

The bridge crosses the West Branch Penobscot River and features a steel stringer design. It carries a single lane of Golden Road 300 feet across the river. It also features a pedestrian walkway which is a great spot to relax and take photos of the magical surroundings. The bridge is associated with the nearby Abol Bridge Campground. There are plenty of places to park along Golden Rd on both ends of Abol Bridge.
