Description
The Case Pond Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall located in Manchester, Connecticut. The waterfall has a total height of 30 feet and it can be found along Birch Mountain Brook. Birch Mountain Brook flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. Although it is best to explore the waterfall in the spring, the Case Pond Waterfall is a great spot to visit year-round. The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of cascades below a dam/bridge.
Accessing the waterfall is so easy considering they can be seen from right from the road. The waterfall is located in the Case Mountain Recreational Area which features a well-marked trail system. Visitors can park along Spring Street on either side of the waterfall and then walk over to get a better view. Visitors can also walk above the waterfall on the dam bridge. This is a super fun waterfall to explore with people all of ages and abilities. Dogs are welcome to join in on the fun! Dogs are welcome through the entirety of the Case Mountain Recreational Area.
