Otis Falls

Description

Otis Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in Otis, Massachusetts. The waterfall has a total height of 50 feet and it can be found along Fall River. Fall River flows strongest during spring when the snow melts and after heavy rainstorms. This waterfall is extremely seasonal and is not often worth exploring in the summer when the river dries up. The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of lovely horsetails and cascades.

Accessing the waterfall is super easy. The waterfall is located in the Tolland State Forest which features a well-marked trail system. Visitors can park along Tolland Road and then walk down the road to the river. The waterfall is just a few steps from the road. Otis Falls is not very well-known, so visitors often have them totally to themselves. This is a great spot to reconnect with nature. Dogs are also allowed at the waterfall and through the entirety of Tolland State Forest.
