Perkins Pier in Burlington, Vermont is a lovely place to take in the scenery of Lake Champlain. The pier, which is located at the base of Maple Street in Burlington, is easily accessible from downtown. The views from Perkins Pier are beautiful – visitors can view the Perkins Pier Marina, Lake Champlain, and the breakwater complete with two lighthouses. Across the lake, the Taconic Mountains and the Adirondack Mountains can even be seen from the pier. Many locals claim that Perkins Pier is the best spot to watch the sunset in Burlington.
