Description
Barnet Falls is a beautiful roadside waterfall located in Barnet, Vermont. The waterfall features a total drop of about 60 feet and it can be found along the Stevens River. Stevens River features good water flow year-round, but its flow peaks during the spring when the snow melts. For this reason, it is best to check out the waterfall during the spring months, such as April, May, and June to see the waterfall at full force.
The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of lovely cascades. Viewing the waterfall is super easy. It can be found right off Mill Hill Road right under a bridge carrying VT Route 5 over the Stevens River. Sadly, there is no public viewing area for the waterfall. It can just be viewed from the road. For this reason, Barnet Falls is a great quick location to stop at and admire.
