Carver Falls

Description

Carver Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in West Haven, Vermont right on the border of New York. The waterfall drops 80 feet in total and it can be found along the Poultney River. Poultney River features great water flow year-round so on any given day Carver Falls can be seen roaring.

The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of an upper and lower section. The upper section features a dam followed by a series of cascades. This section drops about 30 feet. The lower falls are more impressive. They drop about 50 feet and feature stunning plunges and cascades.

Accessing the waterfall is easy and quick. The waterfall is located at the end of Carver Falls Lane in Whitehall, New York. Although the parking area is in New York, the falls themselves drop right on the border of NY and VT. After parking at the end of the road, the waterfall is just about 100 feet away. It is a wonderful place to explore for people of all ages and abilities. Dogs are welcome to explore the falls too!
