Description
Roaring Brook Cascade is a pretty roadside waterfall located in Stamford, Vermont. The waterfall has a total height of about 15 feet and it can be found along Roaring Brook. Roaring Brook is a relatively seasonal waterfall that often flows strongest during the spring when the snow thaw occurs. That said, the brook does flow pretty well year-round, so any day is a good day to view the falls.
The waterfall itself drops in a unique formation consisting of slides and cascades. Sadly, the waterfall is located on private property. That said, the waterfall can be seen right from the Country Road, specifically from the bridge spanning the roaring brook. There is no trail leading down to the waterfall and sadly, it would be trespassing to get a better look. Ultimately, this is a fun roadside waterfall to check out in Stamford. If you’re in the area, it’s worth pulling over for.
